REUSE, RECYCLE, RE-FORM
Sackito is a stunning range of upcycled jute bags handcrafted in HM Prison Pentonville, London, where prisoners are given the opportunity to learn new skills, gain work experience and earn a wage.
Ethically made and environmentally friendly, these magnificent bags are produced using hessian from reclaimed coffee sacks that would otherwise have ended up in landfill. This durable material sourced from local roasters is then transformed into high quality bags by Reform Designs.
In addition to receiving a long lasting and sustainable product, when you purchase a sackito bag, you are investing in a community oriented social enterprise and enabling offenders to create positive change in their lives.
We endeavour to protect our planet and make a positive impact in our community using reclaimed coffee sacks donated by roasters to create one of a kind upcycled jute bags.
Our sackito bags showcase the identity of coffee farmers and producers around the world by including their original emblems and insignias that have been used on coffee sacks for centuries.
When you buy a jute bag from sackito you are protecting our ecosystem and promoting conscious values.
